What do you like to wear on your holiday feet? Apart from bare skin, that is!
I love crocs!
I don't know how shoes which are basically plastic be so wonderful, but crocs manage it (although copycat versions I have tried have been horrible). Thinking about their superlatives got me started on the ss's ..
Crocs are - Soft - Supportive - Sweat free - Smell free and hygenic (anti-bacterial, apparently)
Amazing! They comfortable for long flights, for long walks, on the beach and even in the sea. They're easy to care for. You can customise Crocs, to ring the changes - and that means you can get away with packing fewer pairs of shoes. Together with the fact that crocs are super lightweight it all helps you to travel that bit lighter!
I've also been looking at Fit-flop sandals from www.runningbare.co.uk. I'm wondering if the exercising effect of the sandals might be useful during flights - just to get that bit more benefit from the short walk to the toilet! I also wondered if wearing these sandals for short periods might help tired feet by making different muscles kick in. There's nothing on the website about this (that I can see) - do let me know if you have any evidence! (note - runningbare sell other exercise footwear and clothing too)
